Glenn & Shannon Eastman [email]
Glenn Eastman was the former Worship Director at East River Fellowship. He and his wife, Shannon, have been married for 21 years and have two teenage children. Glenn was introduced to Jesus at the age of six. When he was a young teenager, Glenn became involved in worship ministry as an instrumentalist and a vocalist and has served in that ministry for over 26 years. In 1999 he became the full-time worship leader at Evergreen Christian Center in Hillsboro, OR and served on staff there for two years in worship and media arts. In March 2002, Glenn and Shannon joined with our pastors and several other couples to co-found East River Fellowship and to pioneer its worship ministry.
Glenn’s start in music came when he was 14 years old and received his first guitar. Growing up in a musical household, he also learned to play drums and piano. Through the years, he has written nearly a hundred songs and has recorded two CDs.
Brad Pettry [email]

Brad served as East River’s Sr. High youth leader for two plus years. Prior to joining the staff of East River, Brad served for nearly three years as youth pastor at Valley Hope Community Church in Hillsboro. He has experience in community outreach, as well as evangelical mission trips.  Brad has a passion for the youth of this generation, especially for those “rebel types” that remind him of his own teen years.  In January 2008, Brad answered God’s longtime call to full-time missions by enrolling in the training program of Youth With A Mission (YWAM).

Herbert and Naedene Duran [email]

 Herberd & Nadene Duran
Herberd & Naedene Duran joined East River’s staff January-2006, as Children’s Ministry Directors. They have been married for 17 years, and have two beautiful girls. Herberd grew up in Peru in a Christian home; he worked in various ministries since a young age. In 1989, Herberd arrived in the United States, and attended George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.
While Herberd was attending college, his passion for the Lord and the love for ministry continued in his heart. He worked for three summers at “Tilikum Christian Camp” in Newberg as a staff member. Herberd met his wife Naedene at this camp in 1992 while they were both on staff. After the summer of 1992, together Herberd and Naedene directed the Youth Ministry at Newberg Church of God.
Herberd and Naedene answered God’s call to short-term missions in Areguipa, Peru. They will assist Herberd’s brother in outreach and children’s ministry training.
